Utah Summer Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation in Utah this summer! We really enjoyed getting out of the heat of Arizona and spending time in the cool weather of Utah. It was fun to see and spend time with family and friends. It was nice to stay with Kris and Jaymie. The kids were also excited to see the animals--Jack, Spike, Gabby, and New Kitty. Kris-thanks for always being so welcoming to let us stay in your home!

Great Grandparents

We were so excited to visit Grandma and Grandad Bennett. The kids enjoyed playing with Grandparents, neighborhood children, and spending time at Uncle Gary's and Aunt Dana's house. It was also a treat to be able to see Papa Bennett while were were visiting Utah!

Water Fun

4th of July

On the 4th of July we watched fire works and headed home to light up some fireworks of our own. Miles picked out a treasure chest that turned out to be quite exciting. Marley's request was sparklers!

Salt Lake Temple

We enjoyed visiting the Salt Lake Temple. Marley especially loved the water fountain in front of the visitors center and the Joseph Smith movie. Miles really enjoyed seeing pictures of Jesus with boats.

Alpine Slide and Zip Line

We had a fun day in Park City. The kids loved going on the Alpine Slide and I enjoyed going on the Zip Line. It was a wonderful day!

Sharks

There was a shark attack at the Dinosaur Museum. Two died.

Sundance

We went to Sundance to ride the ski lift and go on a little hike. On our hike Marley found a wonderful pet caterpillar. Miles fell and got a scraped up knee. On the way back from our hike, while on the lift Marley would yell across to the people on the other side, "Caterpillar" and hold her caterpillar up high with a big smile. Miles would then yell, "Blood" and point to his knee. We found it to be very humorous.

On the Farm

The kids enjoyed going to the farm. Miles especially loved spending time with the calf. He thought it was really funny watching him eat his shirt. Marley's favorite animals were the bunnies. They both enjoyed riding the ponies. They had two rides each and chose the same horse both times. Miles named his horse Red and Marley named hers Daisy.
