Newport Beach Temple

We thought it would be fun to do a session at the Newport Beach temple since we knew we'd be staying close by it. It was so nice to take a break from the outside and go into such a peaceful place. When the kids were young, I was able to go through it with them before it was dedicated. When we lived in Cali, I'd go to this temple with the sister's in my ward. I love this temple!

Knott's Berry Farm

Knott's Berry Farm may seem like a wimpy name, but don't let it fool you. I rode on some of the fastest and scariest rollercoasters that I have ever been on at this place. I even managed to do some of them twice.:) We had so much fun!

California Trip #2 with the Malones

I took a road trip with Brad to California and was able to get to know everyone in his family even better. They are so much fun! I didn't take Mars and Miles with me on this trip...we missed them soooo much!!! We'll have to get another Cali trip in with them soon. Brad and I went to the beach, saw Coldplay, did a lot of fishing, celebrated Brad's Birthday, played games with his family, and had a great time. Here's some random pics.

Long Beach Aquarium

The aquarium is always fun to visit. The kids loved especially loved seeing the sharks!

Hiking in Cali

We went on a fun hike while we were in California. It was raining lightly, so we headed out to the hills instead of going to the beach. The kids both found a pet snail at the begining of the hike and held on to them the whole way. Our hike probably took 6 hours. The kids were troopers! We finally found the waterfall at the end. It was beautiful and well worth the wait. We had a great time!
