Lemonade for 25 cents

Marley and the girls in our neighborhood decided that a lemonade stand would be a perfect way to earn money and spend the afternoon together. It was so cute to watch the girls juice the lemons and make the lemonade. They actually sold quite a few glasses and quite a few candy sticks too.

Valentine's Day

Marley has been wanting a little pet for quite sometime. She had been very responsible taking care of her cat, so we decided that it would be a good time to get her a new little pet to take care of. It was a fun Valentine's Day surprise. I had a bunny when I was little. Her name was Bobby, so Marley wanted to name her bunny Bobby too. She has been having so much fun with her.

For Valentine's Day it is tradition for the kids to get books. They are cursed with a mommy as a teacher, so they know that books are essential for every holiday. Valentine's Day is one of my favorite holidays:)

Valentines

Marley decided to make her Valentine's Day cards to pass out in her classroom this year. They turned out so cute! We have a Valentine's Day Mercado at school each Valentine's Day so I snapped a couple of shots of M and M when they came to see me in my classroom. Marley was so excited to make headbands to wear with a couple of her friends. She is so crafty!

Birdhouse

Miles decided to make a birdhouse with Brad before he made one at scouts the following week. I think he was overly excited to get started!

Neighborhood Fun!

Over Christmas break the kids enjoyed playing with friends. They especially loved baking cupcakes, Legos, dodgeball, setting off rockets, playing tag, etc. We are so blessed to live in a neighborhood with so many great kids to play with!

Chandler Space Center

M and M love learning about Science, so we thought it would be fun to go to the Chandler Space Center. Here are some pictures of our fun day out.

Happy New Year!

We had fun setting off fireworks with our neighbors on New Years Eve!

Sewing

Marley has enjoyed learning how to sew. She is a natural. It has been fun to watch her sew little bags with her friends in the neighborhood. Brad isn't so bad at sewing himself:)

Riding Horses

Marley loves horses and would like a horse someday... I remember always wanting to live on a horse farm when I was her age. Our neighbors had horses so I would take them treats and sing to them. So, I understand Marley's love for horses...she definitely reminds me of me:)

We decided to take Mars and Miles along with two of their neighborhood friends, Matix and Emeri to ride horses for New Years Eve. We stopped by Sonic for lunch afterwards. The kids loved a day out together!
