Marley saved up her money for a year and a half and decided that she would like to buy a bearded dragon. After many many discussions about these reptiles , Brad and I talked about it for probably 6 months before we decided that if that is what she really wanted to spend her money on then we'd have our first reptile. Marley named him Beardy and he lives in her room. Marley has such a love of animals!
While Brad and the kids were out researching what goes into caring for a bearded dragon before Marley purchased hers Miles found a pet that was within his budget. Since Miles tends to have a hard time saving his money, he thought that a mouse would be a perfect pet and it was only $3.00. Brad sent me a text message with a funny note and I just couldn't say no. Miles loves his little Oreo. We think it is crazy that he has a pet mouse, but the important thing is that he is so thrilled with it and takes good care of it.
